Caribbean Stud Poker, a variation of the traditional American Five-Card Stud Poker,
is a very simple game to learn and play. Players bet against the house instead of each other.
To get started, place any cash on the table and the Dealer will exchange it for gaming chips.
To receive your cards you must make an opening bet called an ‘Ante’. If you think you have a hand
that will beat the Dealer’s, you make another bet, which must be exactly double your original Ante.
If you do not think you can beat the Dealer’s hand, you may choose to fold and forfeit your Ante.
The Dealer, to continue playing, must have an Ace and King or better.
If the Dealer does not have at least an Ace and King, all Players who haven’t folded are paid even
money on their Ante wagers only. When the Dealer’s hand is an Ace and King or better, you must
have a better hand to win.
There is an optional $2 bet you make at the same time you place your Ante. This qualifies you for
the progressive jackpot. If your hand is a Flush, Full House, Four of a Kind, Straight Flush or
Royal Flush you may win large bonuses.
