Restaurant and Bar Duty Management position


Work Type: Permanent

An exciting opportunity to join our talented and diverse Christchurch Casino Food & Beverage Team! 

We are looking for driven and motivated leaders, who in conjunction with the F&B Operations Manager and F&B Bars Manager will actively oversee and coordinate the daily operations of a large FOH team in a dynamic and often very busy environment. 

Sound judgement and maturity will enable you to make operational decisions in a fast-paced environment, while providing support to your team. You will also be approachable, committed and have at least two years previous experience within a senior F&B role. 

You will be responsible for maintaining and enforcing our Host Responsibility procedures as well as assisting with Duty Manager Duties as and when required. 

You will also help with the continuous improvement and delivery of an exceptional standard of customer service and satisfaction within our F&B outlets – Club Aspinall, Skylark Bar & Lounge, Monza Sports Bar and The Café. 

The ideal candidates will have:

  • Leadership experience within a busy bar/restaurant environment 
  • Sound knowledge of Beer, Wine and Spirits
  • Barista experience 
  • Hold or be willing to obtain a Duty Manager licence 
  • Proven team building and leadership skills
  • Ability to lead and train staff
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A collaborative and flexible approach 

This role is primarily based around evenings and weekends but being flexible and having the ability to work a variety of shifts across our opening hours is key.
